its funny that he mentioned the rent-a-racer because my grandparents always tell me a story that in '64 they had a 57 chevy bel-aire. it was in the shop, and they had to go to a wedding on long island (they live near tribeca) so they went to hertz, and rented a car. not just any car. the brand new ford mustang. at the wedding, literally everybody was in the parking lot gawking at it wondering who was so cool to bring it. lmfao.
