It helps in all areas of explosiveness, including running, sprinting mainly, jumping, and agility. 3 sets of 10 reps each are good!

plyometrics is meant to build fast, strong and lean muscle. Its basically used for boxers, mma fighters, special forces...etc. Its not meant to look good its suppose to make you the best, and it does help allot with endurance, if you do it right.

Are this exercise help if i am a highjumper?

Plyometrics are GREAT for "fast burst" actions... such as acrobatics, leaps, and quick to hit and go moves. Depending on the muscle set you train... they can be EXCELLENT for overall fitness, agility, and basically just resilience.
Acrobatic "dudes" or tricksters/gymnasts who do these kinds of actions make their lives easier!! :)

plyometrics trains the opposite of your endurance due to the nature of the exercisem ie fast and powerful

plyometrics is mainly used to improve the nervous system's function, you probably won't fatigue enough for endurance benefits, all you needs is sets of 12 reps. |
