Opening Doors to New Opportunities

There are a lot of things said about opportunity. Some people say it comes along once in a blue moon. Some people say opportunity only knocks once. There are so called "once in a lifetime" opportunities, and we say "opportunities like this don't happen every day."

All these sayings or ways of thinking seem to me to leave one powerless.

How To Be Successful In Life

When we went to school, we were told that if we worked hard and got excellent qualifications we could get a good job and be successful.

But, what exactly is meant by success? If it means being in a job you don't really like and hoping your pension will give you some freedom and comfort in your retirement, then perhaps the schools were right.

How Do You Define Success?

It's a word we use constantly. Authors of self-help books use it in their titles all the time. If you are a human being with any kind of goal or project, you want it. But what does it actually mean? How do we define success?

We may all want success, but we don't all see it in the same way. One person's success may be another's failure.

There's Never Enough Time!

Home business owners often complain that there's never enough time to get their work done.

The fact is, there are 24 hours in each day, and that's just the way it is. That is something we cannot change. What we can change is our attitude to the time we have available.

Time really only exists in our own mind. It was man who created seconds, minutes, hours, days etc.
Most of us have goals in life. Most of us have some thing, or lifestyle, that we want. We may say that's what we want, we may even write it down, but how do you achieve goals without knowing what they look like? How many of us have vision?

"We all know what a goal is, but vision is a topic of confusion for many," the founder of Success University, Matt Morris, recently said.
When George Harrison wrote these words: "If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there", he was making a valid point. If you don't have a clear idea of what you're aiming for, you could end up anywhere. Setting life goals with clarity will make sure you end up where you want to be.

It's much better to have a clear idea of your destination.
How often have you said "I'd like to leave the rat race" or heard someone else say it? But what exactly is the rat race and how do you leave it?

A search on Google will give you the following definitions:

"an endless, self-defeating or pointless pursuit."

"an exhausting routine that leaves no time for relaxation"

"strenuous, wearisome, and usually competitive activity or rush"

Does this sound like your job? If so, you could be caught up in a vicious cycle that gives you little freedom to enjoy your life or hope for future financial freedom.
You will often hear it said that the secret to success is to emulate those who are already successful. Education for success is all about learning from those who have gone before.

But how easy is this to do? Isn't it necessary to spend some time studying that person's character and habits? And even if you can do this accurately, a process of trial and error would have to take place before you find the right fit for your purposes.

Building Financial Freedom Takes Leverage

When you read a self-help book or a successful person's biography, it can seem that anyone who is at all successful has overcome incredible odds to get there. Top entrepreneurs or motivational speakers all seem to have once been bankrupt, penniless and poverty-stricken or on the brink of a life of crime. You could almost be forgiven for thinking that building financial freedom requires financial failure to start with!

It's certainly a common theme in the internet marketing world.
If someone had suggested to me several years ago that the only way of making money was to stop needing it, I would have felt quite angry. How could I stop needing money when I was behind with my mortgage and struggling daily to pay for food? All I could think of was "How do I make money fast?" Yet, day after day, the answer eluded me.

Have you ever felt that the more you need money, the more it seems to escape you? One of the main reasons for this is because when you feel "needy" you are more likely to take whatever is on offer without proper research.
